Tameside and Glossop Primary Care Trust
The Tameside and Glossop Primary Care Trust (PCT) was established in April 2002 to provide services to a population of 245,000 living in Tameside and Glossop. They provide a full range of community health services from 14 clinics.
Their existing software had become increasingly unreliable and was in urgent need of replacement. After a search for a suitable solution Tameside and Glossop PCT selected Theseus for producing prescriptions across a dozen surgeries for community prescribing.
Theseus "Treatment Agency" Caseload Management software was selected for it's ease of use and comprehensive functionality. As a Web based product it is accessible from all of the surgeries in the area, and features some particularly useful functionality to make script production easier. It also maintains a full case history for each client including all prescriptions previously issued.
